Successful applicants will complete a rigorous 12 month training course gaining competency and certification in a number of engineered surface finishing skilled trades including abrasive blasting, shot peening and AWS compliant certification as Thermal Spray Operators of electric arc equipment for a wide variety of metals and alloys. Limited certification will be completed within the first 90 days by any successful applicant.
This position requires approximately 30% travel within the contiguous 48 states (travel as far as New Mexico and/or Massachusetts is not uncommon). All flights, room and board are company expense and per diem is also provided when traveling. Travel time whether drive time or flight time is also paid. Significant overtime opportunities on most field projects.
Only serious, career-minded skilled tradesmen will be considered. Heavy industrial experience of any type highly desirable in candidates, but training & certification are provided by Metallizers. Military Veteran candidates are a plus, and we thank you for your Service.
